A Cheap Evening with Kids

As a mother of no one at the time, I have come to realize the obvious through my little cousins that were just in town… kids are pretty pricey. I did some research before deciding on what activities to do.
It’s important to pay attention to specials deals your local businesses are providing. There is a local bowling alley that has a special on Wednesday nights of $1.50 per game. I grabbed them all and told them we would go bowling and we ended up bowling 2 games. Unfortunately you must get the shoes and that’s an additional $3.50 but it is better than regular priced bowling.
The next item to research was where we would go to eat. My dad, being a money conscious father, said to Google restaurants that advertised “Kids Eat Free”. This was perfect and wow did I learn something new. We went to IHOP because on Wednesday nights kids 12 and under from 4-8PM for every adult entrée, kids receive a free meal.
It turned out to be about half the cost I estimated it to be at the beginning.
