Good Ol' September

School has started and everyone has shifted to the “fall mode” but we can still squeeze out some summer from what is left. Just because classes have started does not mean that the beaches have closed. Beaches are less packed with all the children at school so now is probably the most pleasant time to lie on the sand. Even though it’s the start of fall, the sun is still able to warm the sand and water.
Football season is also starting up soon, so even if you don’t make it to an NFL game, you can head over to a local high school football game and reminisce on high school days. These games are usually fun and free, so be sure to check out the local game schedules and make it out to one. Tailgating is also an activity that can be inexpensive. Gather a group of friends and bar-b-que at a parking lot right before a big game.
One thing I have been dying to do is take a class that is affordable at the nearby community college. They range from computer to CPR classes, dance and fitness, and even cooking! They are usually a couple to several weeks long so it will not make for a huge commitment.
Get out there and make the most out of your September!
