November is not only a month of thankfulness but savings! The day after Thanksgiving has gained as much popularity as the Thanksgiving holiday itself. With economical times not at their best, Black Friday has become a holiday for many Americans. Black Friday has also become just as popular online as in-store as well having its own special shopping day called Cyber Monday. Websites launch major sales at different times and users can log on to be part of them and purchase their items from the comfort of their own bed!
My first black Friday was last year. I had heard the most ridiculous stories of people getting run over by shopping carts or injuring their feet because of people being stepped on. I did not experience any of this but I did see people act like savages for bathroom towels and that was definitely a sight but I would do it again! If you are a usual attendee or are thinking of participating this year be sure to search “Black Friday sales” to get a preview of what will be available so you know what stores or malls you would like to go to.
