Fire Up the Grill and Save on Your Energy Bill

There is nothing like football season. Beer, burgers, and some great plays is what I look forward to every fall. Whether its college football or the NFL, both are exciting to watch. Hosting Saturday or Sunday game day watch parties or just tailgating with a bunch of family and friends is one of my favorite activities.
Grilling outdoors can save you on your electricity bill compared to cooking indoors on your stove. Stove-top or oven cooking is probably one of the most expensive and least energy efficient ways to cook. Not only is the usage for these kitchen appliances very high, but the kitchen gets warm and would require you to lower the air which is another slam to your bill.
Make sure that when you do grill, you choose the charcoal that is least harmful to yourself and the environment. Once you have this down, make those burgers; grab a cold beer and sit back to watch the game!
