Green Gift Giving for the Holidays

Instead of using tons of gift wrap and gift boxes this holiday, wrap your gift in a simple ribbon and be done! Gift cards are popular gift items. The trend has continued to grow and will continue to with time. No need to stress about tissue paper and matching ribbons when all you need is the card.
Another trend that should become more popular is membership gifting. Memberships are probably the “greenest” gift you could possibly give. Membership gifts don’t require wrapping so there will not be any added trash to the wrapping paper pile on Christmas morning. Memberships to book clubs, wineries, gyms, etc. are perfect gifts for many of the ones we know and there is definitely something for everyone!
I will probably give some of these memberships to people in my family. Netflix and New York times subscriptions will probably be at the top of my list for this season.
