Save Money on Gas with Apps!

Like many people, I love phone applications (aka apps)! Since most everything comes with an app now, it really make finding information (whatever it is you may be looking for) so much easier and quicker to find. What I find most helpful though are applications that help me save money. So, I decided to start a small blog series highlighting phone apps that can help save you money. The first apps being featured are GasBuddy and Cheap Gas!
GasBuddy is an app that finds cheap gas prices on the go…for FREE! With one click, this app will show you the nearest gas stations and their current gas prices. This information is continuously updated by a community of users who work together to update gas prices as they change.
In addition to GasBuddy there is an app called CheapGas. It uses the gas price information from GasBuddy.com but also includes additional information like being able to sort by distance or price, search by postal code, etc.
So before you are forced to stop at the most expensive station in town, use one of these free apps and save money on your next fill up.
