Texans can take advantage over memorial weekend and save big with the “Texas Energy Star Sales Tax Holiday”, happening on May 28-30, 2011. The savings also add up when you use this season to your advantage. Enjoy the weather and take some time to be outside, whether mowing the lawn yourself or turning off the TV and taking the kids out to play, you’ll be happy to be saving and burning calories. Lastly, although sunlight is our friend it can mean a higher electricity bill during these spring/summer afternoons.
